The SLC@CHC empowers all types of learners to adopt tools and strategies to optimize performance, rather than looking at learning disabilities as something to overcome. The SLC@CHC is a place where high school and college students with diagnosed or suspected ADHD, dyslexia and other learning disabilities can come to discover their gifts, 优势和潜力.

We all learn in a variety of ways.

Growing self-awareness, skills and behaviors to optimize performance in and out of the classroom

Realizing personal strengths and attributes you can employ effectively in the classroom

Developing self-advocacy skills to further accentuate your innate talent and intellectual prowess

Mastering the use of technology designed to improve reading, writing, time management, and productivity

Preparing for success in adulthood after graduation to college or the workplace

Transforming your lived experience by focusing on your strengths
